Dove Stone is a large reservoir and moorland set within the Peak District National Park. The landscape is home to an array of wildlife. You can spot Maçarico-real and Tarambola-dourada on open moorland and blanket bog. Other birds you can observe include Corvo-marinho-de-faces-brancas, Garça-real, Zarro-negrinha, Corvo, Pintassilgo, Guincho-comum, Lagópode-cinzento, Lugre and Ganso do Canadá.

Dove Stone is located just outside Greenfield. Parking on site for around 140 cars, parking available around a mile walk away (downhill to the reservoir, uphill to get back) in a local field for £10. A lot of the path is gravel or cobbled, and because its a reservoir a lot of it is incredibly exposed to the weather. You can take a 2.5 mile walk around the edge of the Dove Stone reservoir.
