Scottish Seabird Centre is located ideally for seawatching of nesting Papagaio-do-mar on Craigleith Island, half a mile offshore, and Ganso-patola on the Bass Rock. Plus waders in autumn and seabirds in winter. Pilrito-escuro, Rola-do-mar, Torda-mergulheira, Arau-comum, Torda-anã, Mobêlha-pequena, Pato-de-cauda-afilada and skuas. Nearby, boat trips leave for the Bass Rock Ganso-patola colony and for seal and dolphin trips.

The car park at the centre which fills quickly in summer, allow plenty of time to park. Click on the P in the map to gert directions. Link below has details of other car parks. Bus stop right by the quay.
