Descrição
Spey Bay is situated on the mouth of the River Spey on the coast of the Moray Firth. Andorinha-do-mar-comum and Andorinha-do-mar-árctica breed in summer. Autumn sees large passage of waders, dispersing seabirds such as Papagaio-do-mar, Arau-comum, Torda-mergulheira, Corvo-marinho-de-crista, Gaivota-tridáctila and Ganso-patola. In winter and early spring the bay is a sheltered spot for large numbers of sea ducks and divers, also Gaivota-polar and Gaivota-hiperbórea possible.

Site is 8 miles east of Nairn, north of the A96 road. Car parking either side of the estuary, in Kingston or Spey Bay village. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
