Descrição
The main attraction of Stack Rocks is the sea bird colony best viewed from May to early July when thousands of Arau-comum crowd on to the Stacks to breed together with smaller numbers of Torda-mergulheira, Corvo-marinho-de-crista and Gaivota-tridáctila. Gralha-de-bico-vermelho are regular here as are falcão-peregrino. In the spring and summer Chasco-cinzento are common on the rocky grassland of the clifftops. In the winter a walk eastwards towards St Govans may produce Esmerilhão, possibly Tartaranhão-azulado and good flocks of Tarambola-dourada. Offshore the occasional Diver is possible.
