Descrição
Stoke Canon and Brampford Speke are separated by the River Exe, here faster flowing but considerably shallower than at Stoke Canon Meadows (see separate entry) just to the South West. The start of the walk follows the route of the disused Tiverton (Branch) Railway Line, passing through farmland and following the river near Brampford Speke and eventually back to the start point. Some birds you can expect are Melro-d'água, Guarda-rios-comum and Alvéola-cinzenta amongst many other species.
The River here tends not to flood as widespread as the aforementioned Stoke Cannon Meadows, and is mostly tree lined near Brampford Speke.
