Descrição
Tentsmuir Forest National Nature Reserve provides a variety of wildlife. The area has woods, mud and sand estuary, heath and sand dunes. Grey seals float effortlessly on their backs upriver on a rising tide, only their rounded noses showing above water. In September/October waders are varied (up to 13 species though not numerous). Pato-de-cauda-afilada, Zarro-bastardo, Eider-edredão, Pato-olho-d'ouro and Pato-preto offshore. Galinhola, Estrelinha-de-poupa and Cruza-bico-comum in the woods. Cartaxo-comum, Cartaxo-nortenho, Chasco-cinzento and Petinha-dos-prados on the dunes.
