Descrição
Wellington Gravel Pits is a typical wetland site with open water, islands, reed beds and scrubland. Good for egrets, grebes, winter wildfowl, warblers, Ógea and Guarda-rios-comum. 200 or more Ganso do Canadá in autumn. Mudflats in front of the hide attract waders but often obscured by weed growth.

Park on west side A 49, layby is just south of Wellington village. Cross A49 and follow the track eastwards. Go right after crossing the brook, then left to access hide and main lake.
