In Wormwood Scrubs you will see an array of the usual urban UK species, such as Chapim-azul, chapim-real, Chapim-rabilongo, Pintassilgo, Verdilhão-comum, Ferreirinha-comum, melro, Pega-rabuda, etc. It is also the site of an enormous Periquito-de-colar roost, as well as holding a large number of Gralha-preta.
Winter will usually have Cartaxo-comum and Petinha-dos-prados. Spring and summer will bring Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto and usually both Papa-amoras-comum and papa-amoras-cinzento. Migration often sees Chasco-cinzento and Cartaxo-nortenho. Scarcer passage migrants in 2021 included Melro-de-peito-branco, Felosa-malhada and Rabirruivo-de-testa-branca.
