Description
In the winter period, this area is a popular resting place for large numbers of ducks. Erete vânăt is also on the job every year, just like the noisy Stufărică. In the spring it is on the puddles near the river Ijzer a coming and going of passing waders. For species such as Culic mare, Becațină comună , Sitar de mal , Nagâț , Fluierar cu picioare roșii , Fluierar de mlaștină , Fluierar de zăvoi it is an important stopover on the way to the northern breeding areas. Other notable spring guests are Lopătar , Egretă mică and Egretă mare. In the varied area, birds such as Gușă vânătă and Ciocîntors breed.
