Description
Nordhavnstippen mainly consists of two lakes and surrounding meadows, bushes, and reedbeds. The surrouding habitat is home to Aușel cu cap galben, Ochiuboului, Cinteză etc. In the lakes, it is common to encounter wintering Rață moțată, Rață fluierătoare, and Rață pestriță etc. Other winter visitors include Pasărea omătului and Inăriță, while in the summer it welcomes Ciocârlie and Corcodel cu gât roșu. Out in the sea, Cormoran mare and Eider are common, and with a bit of luck, you can also spot feeding Corb de mare. During migration, the strait next to Nordhavstippen is a busy flyway, offering chances to see species like Uligan pescar and Cocor.

Nordhavnstippen is located in Copenhagen, in outer Nordhavn neighbourhood. The closest metro stop is Orientkaj (M4). Count another 30 minutes of walking from this metro stop (1). The much nearer bus stop (2) Færgehavn Nord (Kattegatvej) is served by Line 164. From this bus stop, you can reach Nordhavnstippen in 10 minutes on foot. The most convinient way to reach this area is by bike.
