Baggersee is a popular recreational lake created from a former gravel pit. It is easy to observe Lișiță and Lebădă de vară with their young (summer). In winter, Pescăruș cu picioare galbene arrive in large numbers accompanied by Cormoran mare and Rață moțată.

Access
Baggersee is located just south of Strasbourg, in the town of Illkirch-Graffenstaden. It's easily accessible by public transport from Strasbourg city center, with tram line A. From the tram stop (1) it is a short walk to the Baggersee. You can also park near the lake. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
