Description
The limestone canyon of the Gorges d'Oppedette is part of the Luberon Regional Natural Park and it is a protected area. In and around the canyon you can observe birds typical of cliffs and rocky escarpments such as Fluturaș de stâncă, Lăstun de stâncă, Buhă, Mierlă de piatră, Mierlă albastră and Șoimul rândunelelor (breeder on the site).

There is a parking lot with explanatory signs. A hike (5,5 km) that goes around the gorges is signposted.
