Description

Eagle Gorge is an easily accessible gorge from Dedoplistsqaro. Vultur sur, Barză neagră and Șoim călător breed on the cliffs and can easily be seen from specific watchpoints along the routes. On warm days, Șerpar and Acvilă mică make regular appearances. In the forest down in the valley Grangur and Pitulice de ienupăr can be heard in spring and summer.

The cliff walls are home to Țiclean de stâncă, Mierlă albastră and Lăstun de stâncă. Near the parking lot Presură cu cap negru, Presură de grădină and Silvie porumbacă are heard singing or can be seen on migration. In autumn, Cocor mic are sometimes seen migrating past the highest tops. Further along the path there is a breeding facility for wild Fazan , so a true wild bird of this species has to be encountered somewhere else.
