Description
The Ordacsehi Berek area consists largely of marshland, but the walk leads mainly through sandy grassland where you may encounter Pietrar sur, Mărăcinar mare and Codobatură galbenă. There are shallow pools where Rață roșie and Rață mare swim. A section of the path is also flooded, and wading bird species such as Fluierar de lac and Fluierar cu picioare verzi are often found here. There is also a small Prigorie colony. Other birds you can see include: Codalb, Cormoran mic, Lăcar mare, Lăcar de stuf, Pupăză, Stârc roșu, Egretă mare, Stârc cenușiu, Șorecar comun, and Erete de stuf.

Ordacsehi Berek is located near Fonyód on Lake Balaton. There is a parking lot at the Berek világa látogató központ, which can be reached via Fonyódliget. Press P on the map for directions. The area is easy to explore on foot, but it can be muddy. There are many branches off the path, but they do not belong to the official path.
