Description
Along the walkway of James Larkin Road you can see many different bird species reaching out to Bull Island making it one of the best hotspots for birdwatching in Ireland.
For example Gâscă neagră, Rață sulițar, Scoicar, Călifar alb, Brumăriță de pădure, Pietruș, Culic mare, Nagâț and Rață mică can be seen in this area.
A great number of birds can be seen from Autumn to early Spring (September to February) as well as in summer. This area should be visited at low tide and definitely bring your binoculars as the Călifar alb tend to stay out far in the middle of the water.
