Description
The proximity to the Ulcinj salina and exit to the Adriatic sea makes the island Ada Bojana a great migration route for birds. Large flocks of Rață cârâitoare, Rață lingurar, Rață fluierătoare, Pescăruș mic, Pescăruș cu cap negru fly over the island on migration. It is wintering site for great numbers of Cufundar mic and Chiră de mare, but Cufundar polar, Ielcovan mediteranean and Rață catifelată too. During breeding season Țigănuș and Lopătar feed in the marshes.

Ada Bojana can be accessed by car, but if you want to visit whole beach and other parts of island you need to go by foot. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking spot.
