Description
Creu de Can Boquet is located at Serralada Litoral Park. The landscape is dominated by Mediterranean forest (Holly Oak, Aleppo pine), garrigue (Erica and Cistus shrubs), and vineyards. The place is good for watching forest species of the Mediterranean area, like Silvie roșcată estică , Pitulice de munte , and Frunzăriță melodioasă .
Woodpeckers are present in the area all year: Ciocănitoare pestriță mare , Ghionoaie verde iberică , as are tits: Pițigoi mare , Pițigoi albastru , Pițigoi moțat , Pițigoi codat and Țiclean , Aușel sprâncenat , and Presură bărboasă are easily heard and seen. At night, Huhurez mic and Caprimulg can be heard, and the latter seen.
In summer interesting species include Drepnea mare , Prigorie , Capîntortură , Cuc , and Grangur. During migration, interesting species like Sfrâncioc cu cap roșu , Codroș de pădure , Pietrar sur , Mărăcinar mare , and Muscar negru can be observed. Birds that can be spotted in winter include Uliu păsărar , Ciocârlie de pădure , Fâsă de luncă , and Presură de munte.

Access
Creu de Can Boquet is located at Serralada Litoral Park, and it can only be reached by car. The area is best explored on foot. It takes around 1-2 hours to explore the area. To visit the site, park the car in the parking site. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. Go direction to the Roca d’en Toni, where a dolmen can be seen. Just explore some of the paths that are in the area, looking for birds in the forests and the fields. The route shown on the map is about 2,5 km one way.

The area is vey hot in summer, and best time to visit in the early morning. During the weekend there are a lot of people all year, so better to visit the site in the early morning in the weekends.
