Las Chorreras de Valdepeñas is a nice place to visit and observe birds due to its woodland habitat, interspersed with fields at the start of the route, and its wide variety of flora (ivy, fig trees, etc.) that can be seen along the way, attracting a great variety of birds. The presence of the Cojoaică cu degete scurte and Codobatură de munte is particularly noteworthy.

Las Chorreras de Valdepeñas is located in the town of Valdepeñas de Jaén. There is no parking lot as such on the route, but you can park in some of the nearest streets, and then walk or cycle to the end. The route shown on the map is about 1 km one way.
