Lake Zürich (Zürichsee) is a big lake extending southeast of the city of Zürich. There are many points along the banks of the lake to check out the birdlife. Like this point in Horgen. Especially in winter more waterfowl can be seen on the lake, including Corcodel cu gât roșu and Pescăruș cu picioare galbene. Common birds to see are Lebădă de vară, Corcodel mare, Stârc cenușiu, Pescăruș râzător and several species of ducks. Rață cu ciuf is breeding and wintering on the lake.
