The Sarıyer Feneryolu Birding Tower north of Istanbul is one of the best places in Europe to see spring raptor migration. 36 soaring bird species can be seen especially hundreds of Barză albă, Șorecar comun, Acvilă țipătoare mică and Viespar. The observing point is out of the city of Istanbul with Bosphorus (Strait of Istanbul) view. Other birds that are often spotted are Acvilă țipătoare mare, Șerpar, Acvilă de câmp, Uliu păsărar and Barză neagră.

Sarıyer Feneryolu Birding Tower is located about 25 km north of Istanbul. There is car parking area. You can reach it by taking the bus after the underground (metro). The metro line is M2 (greenline), the bus number is 150 and 29 C.
