Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Ciuf de câmp population occurs. Also, the wintering Gârliță mare flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Cocor mic breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Pasărea ogorului can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Prundăraș gulerat mic, Codalb, Prepeliță, Rață roșie, Rață cu cap castaniu and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Gâscă călugăriță which is the second record for Turkey. Buhă can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
