Dunkovytsia-Horbok fishpond and it's surroundings are an interesting place for birdwatching and especially good for seeing waders. Among the waders that are regularly seen here are Ploier argintiu, Nagâț, Prundăraș gulerat mare, Prundăraș gulerat mic, Culic mare, Sitar de mal, Pietruș, Bătăuș, Prundăraș de nămol, Fugaci de țărm, Fugaci mic, Becațină comună, Fugaci roșcatand Fluierar de mlaștină. But als other birds like herons, gulls, terns, grebes and ducks are easy to see and nice birds like Lopătar, Barză neagră and Stârc roșu.

The wetland is located between the villages of Dunkovytsia and Horbok. A circular route around the wetland is about 9 km. You can park along the banks of the wetland. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
