Description
Allhallows Marshes cover 98 hectares of land consisting of grazing marsh with water courses, ditches, fields, dykes and hedgerows. The brackish, grazing marshes attract many birds. Wading birds like Fluierar cu picioare roșii, Scoicar, Sitar de mal nordic, Sitar de mal, Culic mare, Culic mic, Ciocîntors and Bătăuș. But also many other birds like geese, ducks and gulls. Also Ciuf de câmp and Erete de stuf, Prundăraș gulerat mare, Egretă mare and Cuc can be seen. Others seen from time to time are Sfrâncioc roșiatic and Mierlă gulerată on passage. Țigănuș is a current visitor.
