Description

Coll RSPB reserve has a car park and visitor centre. Cristel de câmp breed in the area. Coll and Tiree have one third of the UK population. Inăriță cu cioc galben, Erete vânăt and Șoim de iarnă also breed. The island is a vital stopover and wintering area for arctic breeders such as Gâscă cu cioc scurt, Greenland Gârliță mare and Gâscă călugăriță, Cufundar mare, skuas, Fugaci de mare, Pietruș and godwits. Ielcovan atlantic mic and storm petrels offshore.

Access

Coll is reached by ferry from Oban. Delays are likely. The reserve is six miles SW of Arinagour, pass the airstrip and turn left to Totronald.
