Description
Located 800 feet up and three quarters of a mile from the nearest road, Edgehills is surrounded by oak and pine woodland. It contains flowers such as brooklime, gorse, figwort, ladys mantle, heath bedstraw, tormentil and lousewort. The pond attracts dragonflies and amphibians, hence Șoimul rândunelelor is a possibility. Look out for Sitar de pădure and Caprimulg on late spring evenings. Also Țiclean, Cojoaică de pădure, Mărăcinar negru, Pitulice sfârâitoare, woodpeckers and Presură galbenă.

Parking at the northern edge of Cinderford, or at forest track on Plump Hill. See map for details. Click on a P in the map to get directions to a parking. The circular walk on the map is about 3 km, longer walks possible.
