Description
Flamborough Head has one of the most important seabird colonies in Europe. In summer the cliffs are packed with tens of thousands of breeding Alcă atlantică, Corb de mare, Alcă nordică, gulls and Pufin, creating a memorable experience. Scarce migrants are also frequently seen, including Pitulice cu sprânceană galbenă. Throughout the year North Landing provides endless opportunities for rock pooling with starfish, crabs, fish and an array of marine molluscs to be found as well as a rich and varied carpet of seaweeds. Just be careful to watch the tides!

Access
The nature reserve can be accessed by walking along the clifftop footpath northwest from Flamborough Head lighthouse or by following the B1265 from Flamborough village, where a large private car park and café exists. There is a small car park which has an admission charge. You can explore the cliffs in the immediate surrounding of the parking or make a circular walk of 12,5 km (see the map below).
