Description
On the islands of Loch Maree Islands National Nature Reserve Cufundar mic and Cufundar polar nest. Uligan pescar, Codalb, Acvilă de munte, Șoim călător, Erete vânăt, Șorecar comun and Corb may be seen overhead. Forfecuță, woodpeckers, Sitar de pădure, Pitulice sfârâitoare, Muscar negru and Țiclean in the woods. Perhaps Mătăsar in winter. Pine marten are fairly common in the area and may visit the feeders in the car parks. Red deer, roe deer and red squirrels, possibly wild cat.

There are several parking spots along the main road. The site is 60 miles west of Inverness and 105 miles north of Fort William. Boat trips available from the Maree Hotel.
