Beautiful views and plenty of places to explore in a relatively small area, including the pier, rockpools, and beach. Parking and places to eat also in abundance. Huge noisy colony of Pescăruș cu trei degete breed underneath the pier in late summer, allowing for very close and intimate views of chicks and adults with little disturbance. In summer, this is a reliable place to see Pescăruș cu cap negru, often side by side with Pescăruș râzător. Through winter, flocks of Nisipar, Scoicar, and Pescăruș argintiu can be seen regularly, along with Cormoran mare, Pescăruș negru, and Pescăruș negricios. Cufundar mic have also been reported here.

Access
Parking available throughout Mumbles within walking distnace, and some limited parking available right next to the pier itself. Recommend parking in the 'Big Apple Car Park' on the clifftop above the pier for great views. Cycling is common, including the use of the Swansea Santander hire bikes.
