Description
Reddish Vale Country park spans 161 hectares along the River Tame. Lăstun de mal and Pescăraș albastru nest in the river banks. The mill ponds and wetlands are visited by herons, grebes, cormorants, coots and a variety of ducks and geese such as Gâscă de vară, Gâscă canadiană, Lebădă de vară, Rață mandarin, Rață mare, and other birds like Porumbel de stâncă, Porumbel gulerat, Mierlă, Stârc cenușiu and Gaiță.

Reddish Vale Country Park is located in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Car parks are located at Mill Lane (visitor centre), Tiviot Way and behind Woodhall Drive. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. By train: Reddish South Station is 1 km away. By bus: routes 203, 317 and 374 run near the park (Mill Lane). The area has accessible toilets and a cafe.
