Description
The River Monnow is a scenic area noted for blossoming fruit orchards in spring. On warm mornings up to 50 Corb soar the thermals, with Șorecar comun and maybe a Uliu păsărar. On the river there are Stârc cenușiu, Egretă mică, Codobatură de munte, Lăstun de mal, Drepnea neagră, Pescăraș albastru, Pescărel negru and Rață mandarin. The fruit orchards attract large numbers of wintering Cocoșar and Sturzul viilor.
