Description

This attractive seasonal wetland, dominated by Melaleuca preissiana trees, is bisected by Yangedi Road allowing extensive views and convenient birding; typically holding good numbers of the waterfowl and bushbirds of the Swan Coastal Plain. It forms part of Bush Forever site 77.

Note that the site typically dries by late summer to again fill once winter rains arrive.

Access

Yangedi Road runs south from Karnup Road which in turn runs east off the Kwinana Freeway at Hopeland. Park at roadside.
