The Avant-port is a port zone that includes several basins along the river Rhine. It is easy to see the birds from the riverbank. Many Лебедь-шипун and Лысуха with some Кряква and Большой баклан year-round, and Хохлатая чернеть and Озерная чайка in winter. During a cold winter, Большой крохаль is sometimes seen.
