Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site that is transformed into a natural reserve and recreational area. In winter, it is easy to observe many Хохлатая чернеть and Красноголовый нырок. There are also many Озерная чайка and Средиземноморская чайка. In summer, there are only Лебедь-шипун, Лысуха and Чомга and a few Малая поганка.

Ballastière de Bischheim is a former gravel and sand extraction site located in Bischheim near Strasbourg. It's quite far from the tram stop, so it's better to take the car or a bicycle. There's a large parking lot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The circular walk around the lake is approximately 2 km.
