Description
Eagle Gorge is an easily accessible gorge from Dedoplistsqaro. Белоголовый сип, Чёрный аист and Сапсан breed on the cliffs and can easily be seen from specific watchpoints along the routes. On warm days, Змееяд and Орёл-карлик make regular appearances. In the forest down in the valley Иволга and Желтобрюхая пеночка can be heard in spring and summer.
The cliff walls are home to Малый скальный поползень, Синий каменный дрозд and Скальная ласточка. Near the parking lot Черноголовая овсянка, Садовая овсянка and Ястребиная славка are heard singing or can be seen on migration. In autumn, Красавка are sometimes seen migrating past the highest tops. Further along the path there is a breeding facility for wild Обыкновенный фазан , so a true wild bird of this species has to be encountered somewhere else.
