Neuer Friedhof offers - in addition to a 'classic' cemetery park - various kinds of habitats: meadows, dense hedges, areas with mixed woodlands, wasteland expanses, dead wood and a recycling area. Many songbirds can be seen here, for example countless Черный дрозд, Лесная завирушка, Обыкновенная горихвостка, Желтоголовый королёк, Красноголовый королёк, Крапивник or Южный соловей. You can also discover Зелёная пересмешка, Серая мухоловка, Средний пёстрый дятел or even some Серый журавль during the migration period.

Neuer Friedhof is located on the western outskirts of Greifswald and is easy to access. You can park in front of it and explore the area from there on foot. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
