Description
Salzwiesen Bülk is an area of rewetted meadows. In the open area, hundreds of geese such as Серый гусь, Канадская казарка and ducks such as Серая утка, Широконоска and Свиязь can be seen, especially during migration. There are also a variety of waders, such as Бекас and Золотистая ржанка.
The road and footpath lead directly past the area and offer good observation opportunities. At the end of the road is the Bülk lighthouse. Other waders can be seen on the beach, for example the Камнешарка and Морской песочник. Rare, exceptional sightings are also possible, such as the Берингийская жёлтая трясогузка, which is very rare in Germany.
