Description

Björnö is located on the tip of Ingarö in the Stockholm archipelago. With its mix of open sea and green islands, it's popular with both hikers and swimmers. You'll find farmland, beaches, pine forests, and wetland. The nature reserve has a lovely forest trail for hikers, as well as an underwater snorkel trail and kayak-rentals.

Access

Björnö is about 30–45 minutes from central Stockholm by car or bus. Good starting points are the spacious parking lots at Småängsvägen (app-based fee) oder Bjorkviksvägen (no fee). Press P on the map for directions to the parking. The circular route shown on the map is about 9 km in total.
