Lake Zürich (Zürichsee) is a big lake extending southeast of the city of Zürich. There are many points along the banks of the lake to check out the birdlife. Like this point in Horgen. Especially in winter more waterfowl can be seen on the lake, including Серощекая поганка and Средиземноморская чайка. Common birds to see are Лебедь-шипун, Чомга, Серая цапля, Озерная чайка and several species of ducks. Красноносый нырок is breeding and wintering on the lake.
