Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Болотная сова population occurs. Also, the wintering Белолобый гусь flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Красавка breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Авдотка can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Малый зуёк, Орлан-белохвост, Перепел, Белоглазый нырок, Красноголовый нырок and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Белощекая казарка which is the second record for Turkey. Филин can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
