The estuary of the River Axe is full of coastal wading birds such as Малый веретенник, Кулик-сорока, Малая белая цапля and Травник, a range of ducks including Широконоска, Свиязь and Чирок-свистунок, and heathland birds like Теньковка, Полевой жаворонок and Пустельга обыкновенная.
A visit close to high tide is best, forcing birds to high tide roosts and fields/saltmarsh. See a link to the tide table below.

Access
There is parking in Weston Super Mare, but it is best explored on foot. Also parking on the beach. Click on a P in the map to get directions. The circular route indicated on the map is about 2,5 km.
