Description
Brandon Marsh has 8 bird hides situated around the reserve, overlooking pools hosting flocks of Свиязь, Чирок-свистунок and Широконоска in winter, amongst smaller numbers of Гоголь. Scrapes host passage waders in spring and autumn, with breeding Травник, Кулик-сорока and Малый зуёк in summer. Other notable breeding species include good numbers of Тростниковая камышевка, Камышевка-барсучок and Соловьиная широкохвостка, Обыкновенная кукушка and Водяной пастушок. Чеглок are everpresent throughout summer and into autumn. During the winter Brandon is often host to a Caspian Gull which winters amongst the gulls on East Marsh, with a few Yellow-legged Gulls mixed in too. Notable rarities over the last few years have included Грязовик and Дутыш, Плосконосый плавунчик, Вертишейка and Красноголовый сорокопут.

Access
Located off Brandon lane, best access is by driving but it is possible to cycle or walk from nearby Brandon village or Binley. Once parked, explore the reserve on foot.
