Coll RSPB reserve

Coll is a low lying isolated island with 130+ bird species. The reserve contains calcareous machair fields, rocky coast, dunes and intertidal zone.

Description

Coll RSPB reserve has a car park and visitor centre. Коростель breed in the area. Coll and Tiree have one third of the UK population. Горная чечётка, Полевой лунь and Дербник also breed. Access

Coll is reached by ferry from Oban. Delays are likely. The reserve is six miles SW of Arinagour, pass the airstrip and turn left to Totronald.
