Description

Draycote Water is a scenic water body with nice views over some surrounding agricultural lands. Draycote gets lots of visitors - not just birders - and is most popular on sunny, warm days! The birding is best in the winter when lots of migratory bird come to overwinter, including Гоголь, Черноклювая гагара, Чирок-свистунок, Малая поганка, Чомга, Большой баклан, Белобровик, Рябинник and Серая утка.

Access

Draycote is easily accessible by a main road. There is plenty of car parking, although it does get full on very busy days in the summer. Car parking costs £3 for 2 hours or £5 for all day. The path around the reservoir (7,5 km) is great for walking, cycling and wheelchairs, but cars are not allowed on it.
