Gronant has 200 pairs of breeding Малая крачка and some Пестроносая крачка and Речная крачка. Several wader species, Пустельга обыкновенная, Сипуха, Синьга, Полевой жаворонок and Коноплянка. On the 4 ha Big Pool reserve there are Тростниковая овсянка, Тростниковая камышевка, Обыкновенная пищуха, Горная трясогузка, Серая мухоловка, Чиж and Водяной пастушок. Sand lizards, natterjack toads, pyramid orchids, sea holly, sea purslane and other wildflowers can be found in the dunes.
