Description
At Gunthorpe Gravel Pits 120+ species of bird have been seen, including Луток, Большой крохаль and Длинноносый крохаль in winter, when Чибис, Широконоска and teal can be numerous on flooded fields. Spring brings Тростниковая камышевка, Камышевка-барсучок, Обыкновенный сверчок to breed, and Чёрная крачка, Каменка and Луговой чекан on migration. In summer, Чеглок hunt swallows over the ponds.
