The area around Llanarmon DC is predominantly consisting of managed upland moor and shooting estate with sheep farming. Wonderful landscape with peace and solitude in abundance. Great for seeing Красный коршун and occasional sightings of Полевой лунь and Чеглок. In early summer you can observe Обыкновенная кукушка ( usually heard rather than seen) and some Большой кроншнеп pairs on the tops. Оляпка along the local streams. Серая мухоловка nests locally.
