Description
Malham Cove is a regular nest site for Сапсан, Воронок, Домовый сыч, Обыкновенная горихвостка and Каменка. RSPB volunteers with telescope in attendance. Malham Tarn is a National Nature Reserve and SSSI. There are breeding Травник, Жёлтая трясогузка, Горная трясогузка, Оляпка, Чибис, Перевозчик and water voles. Possibility of Хрустан in autumn and Пуночка in winter.

Access
Malham is a short way north of the A65 transpennine road from Lancaster to Skipton. There is no car parking at the Cove, park in Malham village and walk or cycle up. For Malham tarn, leave Malham northward on Cove road and turn right at crossroads.
