Description

Best vantage points are Ronach, Rhunahaorine Point and Tayinloan on the mainland, the ferry boat to Gigha, and the northern tip of Gigha. Wintering sea birds include Синьга and Турпан, Длинноносый крохаль, Красношейная поганка, Черноклювая гагара, Краснозобая гагара, Чернозобая гагара, Обыкновенная гага, Гоголь and four auk species.

By road or bus from Glasgow, 120 miles. Regular ferry from Tayinloan to Gigha island. The ferry journey takes 20 minutes.
