Description

Osceola Lake is approximately 31 acres in size and is surrounded by homes. The small lake has a road that goes around it. There are a few areas for parking. Ducks, geese, and herons often frequent the lake, especially during migration seasons. Birds you can observe include Surf Scoter, Hooded Merganser, Canada Goose, Mallard, Northern Shoveler, Wood Duck, Great Blue Heron, Bufflehead, and Pied-billed Grebe.

Osceola Lake is located off of Kanuga Road on South and North Lakeside Drive in Hendersonville NC. There is a road around the lake with easy access to the lake. There are several places to park for walking. Press a P on the map for directions. A circular walk around the lake is approximately 1.7 miles.
