Description
The Provincial Domain Kessel-Lo has a big pond that is home to different types of ducks, lyska čierna, volavka popolavá, kormorán veľký, potápka malá, labuť veľká and many more, which can be seen from the bird watching hide (see map). Also the rybárik riečny, different woodpeckers, kôrovník krátkoprstý andbrhlík obyčajný reside in the area.
In winter time the chriašteľ vodný can be found in the protected natural area called 'Lovenarenbroek'.

Access
The Provincial Domain is located just northeast of the city of Leuven. There are different car parks and also a camper site. Press a P on the map for directions to a car park. The area can only be explored on foot.
